With over 300 film productions per year, the German capital Berlin is one of the most popular film settings in Europe. Already in the 1920s Berlin was an impressive city as a setting for film makers with its various facets and famous sights.
The Westin Grand Berlin has been the set of several international and German films, series and TV productions. Already when you enter the lobby, the 30 meter high Atrium impresses you with its famous open staircase in the center of the hotel’s lobby. Film stars such as Matt Damon and Franka Potente filmed key scenes of their successful action-thriller “The Bourne Supremacy” here in 2003, most impressively an exciting chase scene on the open staircase.
